So who likes the cold winter weather and all the snow keeping us indoors for the most part? I don't mind the cold so much as the snow closing down roads, if only it would snow on the grass and tress and leave the roads alone.......
Anyway, I felt that if I am going to go outside in the cold I may as well look good and be warm! I have had some cashmere in my stash for a couple of years and thought it was time to put it to good use, I also bought some heavy black lace and am going to make a red winter coat with some lace appliques :)
The lining is the part I want to share with my readers, it's a Kasha lining and an added layer of Thinsolate for real warmth! I even line the sleeves! I can tell you from experience that when I weat coats made in this manner I feel like I'm wearing a warm blanket and is sooooo cozy no matter what the wind chill might be!
