Module 3 - tops, homework week 1

Hello all great job last night! For this week your homework is to create a front and back base block using your classmates' measurements. Please organize your storyboards in order of the steps and bring them to class next week.

We will be adding the base dart and side dart to the front of the block next class.

The students who missed the first night please come in at 6:30 or earlier so I can help you get caught up to the class.

I have been living in the northern hemisphere area of Ontario for a very long time and have been anxiously awaiting the day when I could attend a college that was not in the GTA. I was so excited to find this course and tell everyone I thought who would be interested, likewise. Georgian is so unknown to the folks south of Hwy 9 or elsewhere and the Fashion Industry is an unbelievable source of annual revenue in all parts of the world. This course opens so many doors to not only the student attending, but to the educational institution that is offering the course. The level of advancement that this course offers is second to none here in Ontario.

Do you realize how much our instructor has offered us in a very short time? Not only does she teach us Pattern Drafting but this course allows people who previously had major fitting issues in life to now stand tall and proud and help others to do so, because they can now produce a product that fits like a glove no matter what their shape or size or stature in life. This is what this course gives us. This course imparts something that no amount of money could ever buy.

I hope others who have been contemplating taking the Pattern Drafting course ALONG with the sewing portion of the course at Le Grand Chic, will seriously consider joining the rest of the students on our journey to The Perfect Fit. See you in a future class.
