Hello all and thank you for a wonderful year so far! It is truly my privilege to teach such talented group of ladies!
While you are on summer break in order to get ready for September and best utilize the class time please create 30 bodices, tunic length so they can effectively be used for collar story boards plus you will not lose the momentum in drafting. I know 30 sounds like a lot but if you do one every day until September you will keep up your skills and they will be finished without being stressed out.
Create the bodices as follows using your personal measurements:
10 sheath - 3 bodice backs with fish eye darts, 7 just plain with no darts
10 princess - cut 3 bodice backs with fish eye darts, 7 just plain with no darts
10 mock princess - cut 3 bodice backs with fish eye darts, 7 just plain with no darts
Please join them together and make the armhole adjustments ready for sleeves. Be sure to leave enough paper at the centre front to add facings, also at the top (point A) to add collar. Effectively leave about 30 cm on both those sides.
I will post what you will need for the first day of class, we will be going right into adding facings and re-visiting sleeves
