So we had a great class today with no grey hair growing in quite yet! Andrew did a wonderfully neat draft today on the new blazer with a notched collar he will be making for a function he is attending next month. Just when I think I will stump him or at least confuse him, he answers all the questions and understands the work very well, he just hates it when I position something to show the proper placement and then move it before he can get hold of it! I mean students have to learn how to position things on their own, if I do it for them what will they have learned? You get my drift.....
So there is quite a to do list for homework, trace the pattern pieces for the jacket, draft a two piece sleeve with a vent for the jacket and create a mock up complete with sleeves to fit the next class and then create the lining and canvas pieces. Create the upper and under collar using the collar that was done in class.
have a great week!
